In order to prepare students of this Department for adapting social media marketing trends, the Brand Community Content Editing Course is designed to teach students practical social media content editing skills of the industry, to shorten the learning gap, and to secure future employments.
Nowadays, in the era of social media dominance, many brands have switched their branding efforts to social media marketing which can increase brand awareness and revenue by producing more captivating graphics and audiovisual images. In response to this social media marketing trend, many emerging social media content related jobs were developed. The Department has designed this course in order to foster students' future competitiveness in the market place, and impart practical experience and skills of the industry.
This course will teach students professional skills of social media community management and hands-on content production. The syllabus consists of three units:
1) Topic and Content Planning: starting with planning the theme and content of a social media post, set the tone and manner of each post, and the actual production of promotional contents.
2) Hands-on Design and Production of Social Media Graphics and Videos
-Content creation: Students are able to write popular texts.
- Hands-on production: Students can create social media graphics and videos
independently. (GIF: graphics interchange format、video、motion graphics…)
3) Social Media Effectiveness Review: utilizing Facebook Insights Report as the main data analysis basis, to evaluate whether the graphics and texts were effective. |
