Chinese Course Description

本課程提供同學從歷史的、政治的、社會的及經濟的角度思考大陸法體系與英美法體系之差異。另介紹英美法當代之法學研究工具與方法，期使同學養成閱讀及使用英美法學資料之能力。同時亦訓練同學能精確使用英文以表達英美法及大陸法之法律專用術語。

英文課程概要
English Course Description

This course offer students some aspects such as historical, political, social and economical to think what differences between mainland China law system and Anglo-American law system. In addition, introduce law's research tools and methods, expect students have ability to read and use data of Anglo-American law. In the meantime, enable students to express professional terms of Anglo-American law and mainland China law in English.

教學目標
Course Objectives

Course Objectives This module aims to provide students essential skills in research, analysis, writing and database searching. In particular, it concentrates on reading and writing aspects. Moreover, it seeks to establish key analytical and transferable skills essential not only in the students' legal studies but beyond.
